Not all dealerships post their inventory on 3rd party websites such as Autotrader & Cars.com because it costs a lot of money to do that. The best bet is to go directly to the dealership(s) website that you are interested in doing business with and view their inventory directly. You will typically find much more information going directly to the source.

I am skeptical about the idea that new cars have fewer problems than used ones. In fact, I flatly don’t believe it.

However, the new ones are under warranty, so the dealer can monkey around with it a lot and you might not have to pay for it.

Give me a car with the bugs worked out any day.

You won’t be doing this on evenings that’s for sure not unless you have a warehouse you can roll a car in and tons of off camera lighting equipment.

Shooting houses (exterior at least) for real estate agents would require shooting during the day so that people can actually see the exterior. you could do interior shots at night but a real estate agent would need exterior shots (house and yard) as well.

Same with cars, you’d need to take the shots during the day or own quite a bit of off camera lighting gear to take them at night.

Next is that you won;t find a job listing for this type of work. You’ll have to approach companies and sell your services to them. You’ll have to show them that there is a value in using your services instead of just them taking horrible snaps with thier point and shoot cameras.

Your service will be expensive (it has to so your business model can remain sustainable) and you have to show them that it will have a positive effect on their sales or at the very least on their image.

Put together a portfolio based on the type of client (so houses for real estate, cars and bikes for dealerships). Put together a sales plan and hit the pavement.

First quality. second the trust of a new car and a new car engine wise. a new car will last you longer. old car will break down on you in the middle of the road. the same is they take you to point A and to point B. Safety wise i do not know.
